J Rents belongs to Jake Jackson, a 14-year-old Northeast Ohio entrepreneur who has always had a mind for business. Jake is a ninth grader who loves welding, fixing trucks, spending time outdoors and camping.

He wanted to build something practical that would teach him responsibility, customer service and how a real company grows. His father and cousin help with transportation, safety, maintenance, scheduling and adult rental agreements.

Together, they have a three-year plan to reinvest rental income and grow from these first two rental items into a useful local equipment fleet.
